So I'm watching REPO! The Genetic Opera right now and the costumes are sweet! So I thought it'd be incredibly sweet to have a cosplay group of REPO! Some other ideas that I talked about with people were The Fifth Element and Charlie the Unicorn groups. Also, ink and Franklyn have some wicked costumes too...but I don't think many people would recognize those too well. They'd just be really cool to make. I could see a number of Avatar cosplays coming up soon too. I'd love to do a Na'vi cosplay, but I'd need to figure out how to go about that because of the lack of clothing and well...I'm not exactly tall on my own. I could be like a child...that's an idea. I've also gotten a secret cosplay planned for NDK '10. It should be an overall enjoyable costume...and with my new dressform I should have a great time with sewing it I'm also looking into remaking Petunia Pan since I have my dressform now. Maybe like a more formal version with a corset. I'm not entirely sure yet, but I should start drawing up some ideas. I'd also like to do another version of Madam Red...when she dies because that would be pretty sweet.

I head back to school on Thursday this week. I'm going to hang out with ~CrazieGurl215 when I get back. I also got a new camcorder for my birthday, so I'm excited to play with that when I get back. Then I have my PRAXIS exam on the following Saturday, woohoo! Then classes start the Monday after that.

I'm almost done with my interim class. I just have a movie analysis due on Friday. So that should be pretty simple. But while reading my text I found a piece that I loved because of two main reasons 1)Everyone does it, but only a small percentage recognize and it make efforts to avoid doing it 2)It's the reason why I have a problem with a large portion of people and myself as well.

Happy Early Birthday to me! Woohoo, I turn 22 tomorrow! It's...not that exciting really...I can legally drink, I can drive a car without a supervised adult, I can vote...the only thing that I am "looking" forward to is 25 when I can rent a vehicle without paying a fee because I'm under 25. There's something else too, but I don't remember what it is.

Anyway, my birthday is tomorrow. Then New Year's Eve is going to be sledding and drinking and celebrating Jen's birthday! Yay!! I was thinking about doing NDK's ball, but I decided not to because really...sledding drunk sounds like a lot more fun to me. Well, sledding drunk and watching fireworks and then watching someone set off a firework that falls over and then everyone avoids getting hit. Yup, definitely sounds like a blast to me. Not only that, but then there's hot tubbing afterward.

Christmas was exciting. I got a map of Japan, pjs, socks, pepper spray, an LED headlamp, Alice in Wonderland book, the sixth Harry Potter game for PS2, dinner mints, cookies, chocolate, an orange from Florida, a calendar, a hat with a matching scarf, a new journal to write in, hair dye, Advil, and a Snuggie. Yes...I got a Snuggie and I actually wanted it because I'd like to not freeze in my apartment.

I'm looking into getting a Flip Mino HD camcorder. My dad just asked if I wanted it or a flat screen monitor for my desktop computer. Currently, I would like the camera because after looking at the recommended requirements to playing Aion, I would basically need a whole new computer. So, I'm leaning towards the camcorder right now.

Finally the semester's done with and I'm back in the mountains. This past semester ended up being a complete disaster. I got extremely stressed out with school and work and it ended up leading to a crap load of drama with friends and I basically fell into my depression in the end. I hate my depression and it made this past semester an overall disaster. I lost friends because of it and when I talked with *GreenBushido one night he made the point that we choose what we want to define us. So, after all the crap that went down, he said that it was too late to really explain and have that explanation fix things. Well, with my depression...what am I supposed to do? I don't want to wear it as a badge. If I wanted to wear it as a badge, I'd introduce myself and add "I have depression." It's my choice to not tell others for two reasons: 1)I'm generally a happy person. So how could I possibly have depression? 2)It can come off as a way to get attention. I don't like that much attention to be honest. If I want attention, it's incredibly rare. So, I'm left with just hoping that my friends will be there in case my depression strikes...which sucks when that doesn't happen, especially when my own boyfriend doesn't do anything. And if nothing happens...I feel like I've officially screwed up...I'm a fuck up of life. My life has no point to it and I end up questioning whether I should or shouldn't just walk into a busy intersection and just get hit by a vehicle. My depression terrifies me...so when it starts to appear, I get scared. I don't trust myself...I lost control of myself and my actions. I promised myself to never cut again back in high school, but when I end up physically beating myself up, I don't know how well that promise will hold. When I get depressed, it's during times like those, I turn to religion the most because of feeling lost and scared. And I guess that gets hard too because a good portion of my friends are either religious in a Christian base or aren't religious at all. I'm a Taoist Fairy...it's hard to find someone to just talk to with similar beliefs to me. So, the next best thing for me is to just go to Borders or something and sit in the religion section and look for something...or just look.

Anyway I'm home for the break now. I'm taking an online course for the next four weeks. My birthday is in a few weeks and that'll be fun. We're going bowling, seeing Avatar, and playing games/watching rented movies at my house. I'm working to get out of my depression...which is going, eh. I can be fine for a day and then the next something just drags me back down...stupid depression. I wish I never had it...and don't say that I can just get over it. I can keep it from affecting me, but I still have depression. Half of my family has depression...stupid genes. I don't take a medication for it...if anything...friends are my medication.

Back on a happier topic uhhh...my cat's no longer sneezing. She now chases her tail. That's basically it. It dumped snow pretty much all day, yay

Well, how is everyone? I've been kept incredibly busy the last several weeks. School started up and I've been swamped with homework every night. Not to mention, I had a costume that I sewed together the weekend before NDK But everything is all good now. Well, as good as it can get with large amounts of homework.

NDK was last weekend and it was a blast! I ditched classes on Friday (well it was only four classes and nothing big was happening in them, so I was in the clear). I drove down to Denver Friday morning and managed to hit morning rush hour, ha! Thankfully it wasn't horrible bumper to bumper though...just really close drivers that scared me half to death with death defying driving skills -.- I got to the Mariott and was already in costume. I brought in a book I decided to read while I waited for my friends to come. Also, it was a book for science, so I figured that'd be a good substitution for missing my classes. Well, get into the center and get in line for my badge. I got a few compliments then (I was Madam Red from Kuroshitsuji). So that made me happy and was curious about the response for later in the day...especially when *GreenBushido would be there as Sebastian. Got my badge and then went and sat in a small secluded spot with a comfy chair. I started reading, no biggie. Then...it all started...pictures and screams, haha. I managed to get to page 33 in my text after four hours, haha. I should have gotten near to page 100 or something Once half of my friends got to the convention center I made my way to my car to get some essentials that I was going to need for the next hour: eye drops, parasol, gloves, and lipstick. I got to the car and I wasn't really in the mood to walk back. So...I grabbed my scooter and scootered over to my friends waiting at valet. Yes, I scootered in high heels as Madam Red. It was a lot of fun and it's incredibly easy too. Once getting to the hotel room with the atrium view it was time for *GreenBushido to squirm and cry, mwahaha. By this I mean that I was putting in his contacts because he isn't capable of doing it himself. That was video taped, so ~guinluvsc needs to get it uploaded because I really want to see that humorous moment again. After all that, it was time for more pictures. The day continued and the rest of my friends got to Denver safely. We all had a blast for the rest of the weekend. I didn't spend too much money this year...about $150 including food. I now just have to pay Kelsey back since I stayed with her and I also owe her money from Animeland Wasabi

On to the rest of my life, I've been busy, busy, busy. Classes are only Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, but they're really time consuming. I also have work Monday - Thursday with 15 hours a week. Anime Club is Sunday nights. I game Wednesday nights this semester and I usually go to the gaming session that some of my friends are in on Friday nights (I do homework though...or sleep). That really leaves only a few nights and days open and those are packed with homework. It's crazy! I'm thinking of making a trip home to see my parents in a couple weeks too. That'd be a nice little vacation, haha. I got Comcast installed at my apartment, so I'm enjoying the 12 mbps speed of that. For my classes and the enjoyability of those this is how it's going.
Science - the professor is enjoyable and the class is fun. My group however is another story -.-
English - I'm learning new grammar for the first time in years! I love it because I love being a grammar nazi when I'm being more serious about grammar.
PE - this class is fun and it's just once a week on the other side of campus.
Social Science - meh...it's actually boring for me. All we do is read articles about different political things that have yet to catch much interest.
Elementary Reading - The professor is amazing and all the books we read are for enjoyment purposes and just responses with our own personal reflections generally. It's really nice. We also analyze texts and learn how certain books can appeal to different emotions and thoughts.
Diversity in Reading - The professor is amazing as well. At the beginning of the semester he said that he'll be telling all of us that he loves us. He's dead serious...he says it every class period. He also has wonderful humor and experiences that he tells us. I'm loving the class.
Education Technology - I admit...this class is boring right now. A lot of it I already know and understand...especially in the technology department. Travis is taking a similar class, so we usually do the assignments together because their the exact same things right now (and he's a secondary education major!)

So yea, that's about it. I'm getting my hair cut today because it's long. It'll probably be a bit of a trim and more exaggeration. I spent about $100 yesterday in just food and materials for school -.- I can't be spending this much money...it's ridiculous. I can understand the food aspect though...I need that to live and so it's necessary (especially since I hadn't been shopping for weeks because of how much of my time was gobbled away, haha).

Alright, Social Science is about to start, so I'm off to that...on my scooter...in my new red shoes that are giving my ankle backs blisters from getting worn in. Later!
